Isn't the server supposed to come back up by now??
And i'm having problems connecting to SoTNW forum.....whenever i try to connect to http://forum.swordofthenewworld.com i get this IPS Driver Error.....anybody else having the same problem??
I am wondering the same thing, I cannot connect to SotNW and the forums crapped out... So we wait for now I guess..
I think K2 staffs went to vacation......

i dont think it is maint unless 3.0 is comming out, i think the servers crashed and they are having alot of problems with them....

Yeah, the database servers crashed, and they weren't expecting them to be back up within 36 hours, but it's gone beyond that already.
Expect another Illier.
We might get the servers back in a weeks time, the rate that they manage to fix things...

Nah, it is taking so long because the servers screwed and they're having to do unplanned maintenance.
Not to say 3.0 won't be coming too, but I wouldn't get your hopes up ...

but...did u see notice that www.swordofthenewworld.com is down?? It wasnt down when the maintenance started or when the forums went down.....
i think they r remodeling the website for 3.0
man.....if it isnt 3.0 when we can finally play.......im gonna be pissed :(
They're saying that the web server is on the same cluster though, so I'm assuming that the database is hosted on the same sql server/group of servers as the game DB's, hence when there was a problem with the game db server, there was also a problem with the forums.
Would be delighted if it was for remodelling for 3.0, but it would still have been nice to get a bit of warning rather than just get the game server down for 3+ days as usual.
They're not remodelling for 3.0, why would they take down the servers for like 3 days to remodel the website, while the game is still down as well? Also, it CAN'T be 3.0 when we play, because we don't even have the full 2.9 update yet.
The only truth here is that 3.0 isnt ready BECAUSE K2 doesnt has enough money to buy the upgrades from hanbisoft and IMC.
Just take a look at k2 financial situation. They already had to give away one of their games.
maybe they are giving away swords too?
Well...i honestly hope K2 do gives up this game to a BETTER company who will do a LOT better job in handling this game....*K2 SUCKZ*
